Dr. Shereen Teymour, MD

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Shereen Teymour to Advanced Dermatology! Dr. Teymour is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology, with a particular focus on laser treatments, skin of color, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Known for her compassionate bedside manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Teymour builds lasting relationships with her patients by taking the time to truly understand their concerns and crafting personalized treatment plans that honor both their skin and their identity. 

Dr. Teymour earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she developed a strong foundation in both clinical medicine and holistic patient care. She completed her preliminary year in Pediatrics at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital before pursuing her dermatology residency at Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center, where she was honored to serve as Chief of Cosmetics. Her guiding philosophy — Refinement, Not Reinvention — reflects a commitment to results that are natural, lasting, and true to who each patient is. 

An active contributor to the field, Dr. Teymour has published peer-reviewed research in leading dermatology journals and serves on the editorial review boards of Dermatological Reviews and Cureus. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the International Society of Dermatology.
