Jack Cossman, M.D., FAAD

Jack Cossman, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

For the past several years, he practiced general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. In addition, he taught weekly at the NYU dermatology resident clinic at Bellevue Hospital, where he managed complex medical cases. He now brings his expertise to our wonderful community and welcomes patients of all ages and all skin conditions. In particular he enjoys treating acne & acne scarring, hair loss, psoriasis, skin cancer detection & treatment, as well as facial aesthetics. 

Dr. Cossman’s training was completed almost entirely in Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated from Brown University, earning both a bachelor’s degree and medical degree there. Following an internship was at Yale New Haven Hospital, he returned for dermatology training at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence.

While deeply dedicated to his career, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family and dogs. He has been to 49 states (just missing Iowa!), 53 National Parks, and 35 countries. He looks forward to exchanging travel stories as he gets to know new patients!
